DFID published a report on risk factors in the EU accession of BiH Print
Friday, 23 October 2009 00:00
The Department of International Cooperation of the British Embassy in BiH (DFID)  published a report on assessment and analysis of EU accession risk factors for Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the report, Bosnia and Herzegovina has made some progress on the liabilities in the context of the European Partnership, but at the same time regressed in other areas. Analysts of DFID believe that the current State is so dysfunctional that the abilities to negotiate details of the Acquis chapters, if reaching candidate status, is in question. Full report is available to download HERE.

Decentralizirani sistem upravljanja fondovima EU (DIS) – analitički pregled njegovog značaja i razvoja u BiH:

The Scar of Srebrenica - by Jennifer Tong
This year, in July, Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton said that the U.S. will invest $15 million into preserving the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp, pending Congressional approval.  The Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation’s mission is to preserve the concentration camp and has been seeking money.  The camp is deteriorating as a result of it being built as a temporary place and without proper funding the camp cannot be sustained.  So why spend millions of dollars during an economically challenging time?  Why not let the camp go under after decades since the end of the war?  Why keep reminding people and holding onto the past?
